Mr. Katel holds a Master's Degree in Management from Tribhuvan University and a Fellowship (FIII) Diploma of insurance from the Insurance Institute of India. With over a decade of industry experience, Mr. Katel's expertise encompasses the overall technical landscape of insurance, including underwriting, risk management, claim management, reinsurance, and internal operations.
Prior to assuming his current role at United Ajod Insurance, Mr. Katel served as the head of the underwriting department at United Insurance Co (Nepal) Ltd and was a key contributor to the underwriting department at Sagarmatha Insurance Co.Ltd.
